  • Step 1: Schedule a complete crawl space & foundation inspection for moisture, wood-destroying insects and general pests or rodents

  • Step 2: Review findings to include assessing the current condition of crawl space and foundation, possible areas allowing water intrusion, wood moisture content, wood decay, fungal growth, condition of crawl space insulation, shifting piers, and foundation support, ventilation, leaks & standing water. Photographs of crawl space taken before & after installation. All technicians come equipped with a new Tyvek crawl suit on board for homeowners that wish to crawl the home with the technician

  • Step 3: Schedule installation of 1,500 square feet of six MIL poly vapor barrier on crawl floor, cutting around piers, overlapping at seams and securely anchor placement to reduce the amount of ground moisture that evaporates and rests in the foundation wood members

 Installation of poly vapor barrier is the very first step in controlling crawl space moisture & reducing chances of resulting fungi growth, wood decay & wood-destroying insect attack. It provides a clean area for routine crawl space maintenance.
